A very scarce gift publication for Christmas from the Religious Tract Society, dated from Copac, first and only edition of this work, held by three institutional libraries only. A collection of Christmas hymns, songs, and carols, featuring various woodcuts in text, vignette and border, divisional title page, and head-pieces. Jisc notes I. C. as illustrator and Mason as wood-engraver.  In a contemporary binding over paper covered boards, paper-backed, with titles inscribed in black ink to the spine. Externally generally sound with some shelf wear and edge wear, rubbing to the boards, and some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Bookseller sticker to the front pastedown. Internally, the hinges are slightly strained, holding firm; the text block firmly bound. Light spotting to the odd leaf, otherwise the pages are generally bright and clean throughout.
