Uniformly bound in full mottled calf binding. Externally, some minor shelf wear, and some loss to the spine labels. Title spine label is missing to Volume I. Joints to both volumes are tender. Amateur tape repair to the spine and boards of Volume I, and an ink mark to the rear board of Volume I. Previous owner's ink inscription to one of the front free-endpapers of each volume. Containing a 'Neatham Mill Library' stamp to the rear free-endpaper of each volume. Internally, both volumes generally firmly bound.
