Containing the whole of the debates in both Houses of Parliament on the principles and details of Protection to Agriculture and British Industry.The first edition thus, reprinted from Hansard's Parliamentary Debates. Complete in two volumes. An uncommon and interesting copy. With half titles. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally rather worn with considerable shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, some loss to the spine particularly to vol. I, general minor chipping and closed tears to the cloth, particularly to the spine and extremities. With some damp markings scattered to the boards, particularly to vol. II. The backstrips were laid down, the cloth slightly cockled. The rear board of vol. I is detached, the front and rear board of vol. II as well as the front board of vol. I may detach with further handling. The joints have failed. Library stamps to the front free endpaper, half title, tile page, rear pastedown and the occasional other leaf. Internally, the volume is firmly bound. The pages are generally very clean with only the odd minor faint spotting to the odd leaf. Fair . Ill.: None. Fair .
