Externally smart with minor shelf wear and some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, with some chipping to the head and tail of the spine, occasional minor losses. The spine has slightly darkened. With Eric Johnson's bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Minor loosening to the hinges of 'Spendthrift,' the binding is tender to 'Guy Fawkes,' and 'The Miser's Daughter' with the odd leaf loose, all leaves present. With minor offsetting to the endpapers, otherwise the pages are bright and clean. Some leaves unopened, some opened with minor chipping to the edges. Illustrated with a frontispiece and illustrated title pages to each volume, as well as numerous full page plates to each volume. Very Good . Ill.: Hablot K.
