A very scarce programme noting the visit of the Royal Archaeological Institute of Great Britain and Ireland to the Egyptian Hall at Mansion House on Wednesday 12th July 1893, by the Lord Mayor Stuart Knill.The programme consists a hand-list of the maces, swords of state, and other objects exhibited in the hall for the visit.In Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London, the Egyptian Hall is the main reception room, named because of the 'Egyptian' columns arrangement around the room.Bound without an overall title page, neat handwritten title to the front blank.Bound with sixty-four blank leaves to the rear. In a half morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, with some rubbing to the joints and extremities. A little discolouration to the boards. Bookseller's label to the front paste down. Neat ink inscription to the front blank. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good . Ill.: None. Very Good .
