A work detailing the history of the Eton Vikings Club, a rowing club dedicated to Old Etonians. the first edition of this work was published in 1869, and the second in 1875, and so this edition is greatly expanded. This is a subscription copy, no. 59. Loosely inserted is a receipt for the purchase of this volume, and a letter, dated 1932 and addressed 'dear fellow-Viking', with Eton Vikings Club letterhead. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to spine head and tail. Internally, firmly bound. Patches of spotting and heavier foxing throughout. Folding maps at rear clean and bright.
