Collated, complete.A work published ten years after the award to two painters of the Prize for Painting from the City of Antwerp in 1903.The first half of this work is dedicated to tipped in colour plates depicting the art of Joseph Posenaer, 1876-1935, a Belgian painter of landscapes and portraits whose work can be found to this day in the Museum of Antwerp.The latter half of the work features plates after Belgian-American painter Emil Jacques. In addition to portraits and genre pieces, he mainly painted landscapes in the open air. In the publisher's original cloth binding with paper covered boards. Some marks to the boards. Discolouration to back strip, with bumping to head and tail. Front hinge detached from text block. Closed tear to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
