Externally smart with some shelf wear and a slight rubbing to the leather, as well as a minimal loss to the head and tail of the spine. The spine to all volumes is slightly darkened. With James Pope-Hennessy's bookplate to the front pastedown to each volume. Internally, firmly bound. With a minor faint scattered spotting affecting particularly the leaves of plates and the endpapers. Otherwise, the pages are generally clean throughout with only a faint age toning, as usual due to the type of paper used.
