It was collected over hundreds of years by authors, translators and scholars across Asia and North Africa. Famed tales within include 'The Seven Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor', 'Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp' and 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves&apos.'The Magic Walking Stick' was written by John Buchan and is a children's work telling the tale of Bill and his magic walking-stick which can transport him anywhere.Sir Max Pemberton's 'The Iron Pirate' was the author's best-known work, and saw enormous popularity in the 1890s.
