With illustrations of San Francisco, a dairy farm at Dixie, Sacramento, an orange grove near Colfax, Donner Lake, Emerald Bay, Truckee River, Reno, Truckee River Dam, Palisade Canyon, Ryndon, the Wasatch Mountains, Salt Lake City, and more. The route this work shows is now the interstate 80, With a colour plate tipped in to the front wrap. Illustrated with twenty-two colour plates. Photographed by Gabriel Moulin, who was a leading photographer in California, eventually becoming the official photographer for the Bohemian Club. Collated from WorldCat, complete. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart. Light tidemarks to the rear wrap. A little creasing to the tipped-in plate to the front wrap. Minor edgewear, heavier to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a couple of small handling marks. Very Good . Ill.: Gabriel Moulin.
