In the publisher's original cloth binding with blind stamped design to front board and gilt stamped title to spine. Externally very smart, with slight bumping to extremities and head and tail of spine. Marking to board, more severe to rear boards. Front hinge split and strained after half title page, but reasonably firm. Bookseller's label tipped to front pastedown. Slight creasing to front free-endpaper. Internally firmly bound.
