Incomplete, being Volume IV of a total of four volumes. An interesting work on a selection of picturesque views in Great Britain in the nineteenth century. Illustrated with a vignette title page, and forty-seven plates. Including plates of Stanmore House in Middlesex, Eastbourne, Aberystwyth, Battersea, Newham Court, St Germans Church in Cornwall, and more. Undated, dated from Copac from a copy held at St Andrews University. In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, smart. A little rubbing to the boards. Bookseller label to the front pastedown. Prior owner's ink inscription to the verso to the front endpaper, 'G.H.K.B. March 1928&apos. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean.
