[DISLER, MARTIN], Martin Disler: Invasion Durch Eine Falsche Sprache
Zurich Galerie & Edition Stahli AG, 1979. Signed Limited Edition. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall, Hard Cover, Very Good, Fine. Number 245 of an edition of 500 copies, pencil signed by the artist. Hard to find book containing more than forty of Disler's abstract drawings in black and white, with no text other than the title page and colophon, which are in German. Martin Disler (1949-1996) was one of the most important Swiss artists of the post-war period, creating a body of work encompassing a wide range of human emotions and experience. The works shown in this book are strongly graphic, with bold lines and forms. Printed dustjacket over plain cardboard boards, pages printed on one side only, unpaginated (about 45 pages). The book is in fine condition, with no wear, chips, tears, names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has some light soiling and edgewear, and the remains of an old price sticker on the front. A very clean and sound copy. Signed by Author
