Frontispiece engraving facing each title page + quick count of 10 or 12 additional engravings mostly in Vol. I and 3 or 4 maps in Vol. II. Initially published in 1851, the 3rd Ed. also first published in 1851. Reprinted from a copy in The State Historical Society of Wisconsin Library.
