Of 5 chapters, moderate amt of faint red pencil underlining chapters 1 & 2 + minor faint red pencil chapter 4. DJ f&b panels, spine & unprinted rear flap all crisp & clean, but front flap couple of vertical creases & might've been priced w/ large arc cut at the lower corner with the piece-of-pie-shape missing there. At the end of his Preface, author's identity stated as: "William Ebor: Bishopthorpe, York, April, 1931". Last 23 pages of text: Appendices I & II. No index. Last 2 printed pages: By The Same Author list of titles. Previous owner Frederick Warren Putnam, Jr. (1917-2007) had been "one of the longest serving bishops in the Episcopal Church".
