Hardback, 12mo, appx 5 1/2 x 7 3/4 inches, blue/red/black on gray cloth, 461 pages + ads, G-/no dj (clear acetate dustwrapper provided to preserve condition). Book presents okay (just not great). Cover wear edges, ends and corners (bumps, rubbing, only small amount of fraying). Titling and graphics (front cover illustration & X Bar B brand on the spine) remain pretty decent. Front cover remnants of couple of small spots of white paint. Back cover area of light red stain and splatter as from a spill. FFEP absent as is the subsequent page (either a blank or the half-title). First interior page is back of the frontis. All plates are present (Maynard Dixon illustrations on glossy stock). Repair to split front hinge and gutter split in the ads at the rear. Rear hinge intact. Only minor amt of foxing within, but worst found on frontis and tp where lower corners also have small moisture stain. Good.
