DJ clean, barely nicked corners, flap corners tapered (not clipped), rather minor wear along top edges + what appears to be anomalous varnish-coat drying leaving hair-like surface ridges that could be mistaken for scratches. Very large number of b&w images throughout taking up entire pages (usually 1 or 2 images per page incl photos, art, engravings & each image with explanatory text). Printed in Spain.
