Looks like about 400 operas listed alphabetically throughout the book, all viewable at a glance in the 7-page, 2-column format similarly alphabetized Table of Contents. Notes for each opera include composer, general commentary, settings, synopsis, major roles, lesser roles, bit parts, chorus appearances , orchestra components, material sources (music/scores), photograph availability, performing companies. Long Operas through p. 159, Short Operas through p. 233. At the rear: Appendix, Key to Abbreviations, Performing Companies, Index by Composers. Very Good.
