Spine-ends evenly rubbed across with small amount of fraying and paper exposed. Spine cloth a little sun-touched. SIGNED by author "Charlie Robinson" across title page. Also SIGNED by entire cast of 19 + two additional signatures not listed in the cast (extras?) on the page facing the listing of cast members (reproduced from program of the first NY perfomance at the Lyceum Theatre, 9/28/33). Also: gift inscription SIGNED by Larry Fletcher (played Jake Edwards): "Merry Xmas, 1933 - to the two grandest people I know, Larry". Tipped-in on FFEP is Larry Fletcher's Christmas Card (sailboat theme). Ownership sig to frontpastedown (Isabelle Fathuaer?). Three items tipped-in at rear - looks to be a couple of photos from the program + a newspaper clipping caricature of a leading character. Cast: Horace McMahon, George Heller, Ross Hertz, Edward Craven, Bradford Hatton, Don Rowan, Murray Alper, Bruce Macfarlane, Larry Fletcher, Paul Huber, Rod Maybee, Effie Afton, Ann Thomas, Ruth Conley, Josephine Evans, Edgar Nelson, John Bard, Audrey Christie & Harry Hornick. Additonal two signatures: Charles Uday & Ann 'Whitney' [?]. Two pages within yellowed from a small March 6 datelined clipping laid-in: "Show Cast Quits Over Salary Cut" (joint resignation "believed to be a Broadway first"). Very Good. Signed by Author.
