Hardcover, quarto, appx 7 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches (20 x 26.5 cm), gilt and embossed on full black leather, pp [viii] + 1357 + 8 map pages (in color, printed one-side-only) + 4 pages "Registro di Famiglia" (no writing on these pages), VG+. Antico e Nuovo Testamento. Testo Italiano. The Holy Bible, Old and New Testaments. Text in Italian. Very clean inside and out - no names, no inscriptions, no writing. Not much wear whatsoever. Top corners appear to be only lightly bumped, but there are rather minor effects within to the first 250 pages and the last 75 pages. Black endpapers with hinges intact and the binding entirely solid. Five simulated raised spine bands. Publisher's red stain to all edges. Some 6 or 8 thin red place-marker ribbons laid-in loosely. Folded sheet of paper laid-in printed black only one side, decorated/illustrated, appx 10 1/2 x 15 inches (26.5 x 37.5 cm), Commissaria Generale di Terra Santa in Sicilia, dated Palermo, 1953. Very Good.
