Hardback, quarto, appx 8 x 11 inches, gilt titling on original olive brown cloth covers, 175 pages, VG or better/no dj (perhaps as issued). Tight binding w/ hinges intact, one very small corner bump, small bubble in the cloth near top corner of back cover. Interior mostly very nice w/ no names, no writing, though first blank page has two top corner folds (2" and 6" in length) + maybe 20 pages near the center of the book show a very light moisture tide mark in the top margin at the gutter with some of the pages having surface pulls from being separated (no type or image affected). Numerous photos & lists + advertisements, political cartoons, etc. Includes nurses, Anoka County Red Cross, war-time recipes, but mostly Minnesota & military history & reporting incl Honor Roll of 33 names. List of Acknowledgements includes Pillsbury Lincoln Mill, T.J. Abbott, G.H. Goodrich, State Bank of Anoka, Mpls. Anoka & Cuyuna R.R. Earle Brown, and others. Author's Preface notes that "no comment can be made upon the work of the local agents of the Department of Justice, of the secret service, and other organizations the purpose of which was to watch the disloyal, protect lives and property and stamp out sedition." , Very Good.
