Hardback, squarish thin 8vo, appx 6 3/4 x 9 1/8 inches, purple cloth backstrip/purple paper-covered boards with gilt/black title and decoration + color illustration pastedown to front board, 56 pages, VG+/no dj. A little chipping to the corners and along the edges. Spine a little faded + a little uneven fading to the boards (most prevalent on the back board). Color pastedown (front board) is clean and has only one small scratch of not great significance. A little droplet area along the spine cloth of the front board. Illustrated end-papers with hinges intact and binding solid. Full-page color plates + numerous b&w pen and ink vignette drawings in the work. Very Good.
