DJ not price-clipped, generally very clean, a little surface soil shows on the white background, mostly minor/shallow chipping & wear corners & ends, very short tear top corner front panel & appx 3/4 inch tear top edge back panel down the spine-fold. Numerous b&w photographic plates on coated stock not in the numbering system (frontispiece portrait of Bersvend O. Draxten + 10 or so 4-page sections scattered throughout). Author's Preface dated Minneapolis, December 1, 1944. At the rear: Errata and Addenda page + 29-pg Index. Very Good/Good.
