Light to moderate wear to corners, edges and ends. Scattered light spotting/discolorations to covers. Very minor foxing to endpapers, "RK" in ink to front pastedown, inscription in Japanese across top of FFEP. One pencil notation within (correcting a typo) + 6 or 8 scattered underlines or brackets in red pencil. Front cover: gilt in English. Spine: gilt in Japanese (spine gilt slightly rubbed). Sterio taught in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and San Francisco - and at the very least wrote the preface. A great deal of the book printed in 2 columns: phrases in both English and Japanese. There are also a number of sample letters and full paragraphs printed in one language followed by the other. Good. Signed by Author.
