Only very light external soil. Mostly light rubbing and bumps to ends and corners, but lower corners bumped moderately, and both corners of upper board rubbed just through. Spine rolls a bit, hinges are fine, pastedowns are darkening with general light to moderate reading wear internally. Appears to be a Presentation Copy. INSCRIBED and SIGNED by author on FFEP (with a small smear to the "T" of "To"): "To Miss Copley - and I hope it gives you anyway one pleasant evening! Love, Mabel." Story of a Minnesota lumber baron family (the Heatons) and events at their North Shore Lake Superior estate, Fiddler's Fingers. Good. Signed by Author.
