Half title page, handcolored title print explanation, handcolored frontispiece, title page with vignette, text page, ‘Aan den godvruchtigen lezer’, 2 pages dedicated to Jeronimo de Haze with vignette, portrait of Basnage, 12 pp ‘Redeneering over Gods Wezendlykheid’, 168, 92, 66 pp. and 84 pp. with double engravings or vignettes; Incl. handcolored title print explanation and handcolored frontispiece at the beginning of "Het Nieuwe Testament", full double page map of the Temple of Jerusalem, full double page map of Jerusalem, full double page world map (= Orbis Per Creationem Institutus), full double page map of the Mediterranean (=De Reysen Christi de Heyland en Pauli met andere syne Bloedgetuygen) * Full leather binding, with double lined gilted ornamental border, in the center an allegorical representation of the globe in gilt print. Both handcolored frontispieces and world map by Romeyn de Hooghe, frontispiece of the New Testament dated 1702. All four colored frontispieces and title explanations hightened with gold. Some engravings misnumbered. A good and complete first Dutch edition of Basnage's work. With all engravings, colored frontispieces and maps in very good condition. A few stains and marginal repairs, small wormhole in inner margin, new endleaves and spine strengthened..
