This written attack also precipitated the famous guerre des bouffons, which was sparked by a performance of Pergolesi's La serva padrona (1733) in 1752. First published: Paris: Christophe Ballard, 1701 An early, curious Amsterdam edition. Bound with a curious collection of plays as [e.g.]Iphigenie En Tauride, Callirhoe, Marthesie .
