Description: Venetiis, Apud Nicolaum Pezzana, 1706. 12mo, 153 x 82 mms., pp. [xxiv[, [1] - 1005 [1006 blank], including engraved title-page preceding printed title-page, contemporary red morocco fan binding, with central circular fan design in centre of each cover, with fan at upper and lower covers, and semi-circular gondola shapes on sides, spine blocked in blind; wear to end-papers, with worming to rear end-papers, occasional staining, binding very faded and slightly wormed, but still distinctive, a goodish copy with ownership/presentation inscription (which I can't quite decipher) on verso of rear free end-paper. The text includes Eptiome Flori in reliquos Titi Livii libros, qui desiderantur, pages 977 - 1005. This edition of Livy's history of rome was prepared by Carlo Signio (?1524 - 1584) and first appears in an Aldine press imprint of 1755.
