With the autograph, c. 1803, of John Oldfield or J. Oldfield on the title-page and the front paste-down end-paper. Brooks describes himself as editor in the imprint, but the work was originally published in 1598, if not earlier, as Politeuphuia and attributed variously to Nicholas Ling or John Bodenham.
