Patrick Hutchison (c.1740 - 1802) spent his entire ecclesiastical career in Scotland, chiefly at the church in Canal Street, Paisley. He was a minister of the Relief church. He was an important figure in broadening the area of Scottish Presbyterian dissent and making it more tolerant and liberal with the strict covenanting conventions of the Anti-Burghers.
