With the armorial bookplate of Arthur Jeffreys on the front paste-down end-paper of each volume. In this edition, Hume has omitted the essay "Of Avarice" and the note on Walpole; the title of the essay "Of the Dignity of Human Nature" has been amended to "Of the Dignity or Meanness of Human Nature."
