Description: London: Printed for Richard Baldwin..., n. d., [1765]. 8vo (in 4s), pp. 31 [32 adverts], disbound; title-page almost detached at inner margin. Parsons' sermon was first published in 1680 and frequently reprinted. Here the title-page adds a long homily above the imprint about the publication of Rochester's poems. ESTC T87649 locates copies at L, C, and O, but notes, probably inaccurately, "The author's name is given incorrectly on the titlepage; by Robert Parsons, Rector of Oddington." Robert Parsons is, of course, correct, but he is not described in this copy as "Rector of Oddington."
