Small 8vo (in rs), 254 x 87 mms., pp, 12, 228, contemporary sheepskin; printed on poor quality paper, many leaves a bit grubby, joint cracked and tender, corners and spine worn. A fairish copy, but scarce. An edition of 173 pages was published in 1762 by John Brown in Glasgow (ESTC T69836; copies in Advocates Library, BL, and E. A. Hornel Art Gallery and Library in Kirkcudbright, Scotland. Another edition of 8 + 122 pages appeared also in 1762 in Aberdeen, printed and sold by James Chalmers (ESTC T171913; Aberdeen University Library only); and the present one, undated with a preface by the publisher, John Greigy (ESTC N35374, with copies in Edinburgh University Library and NLS in these islands, Bowdoin and Rutgers in the United States.
