Collected in a revised form together with other shorter pieces, in a no longer anonymous, volume from the same publishers along with T. Henney, Cheltenham, called The Early Minstrel: OR, A Sketch from Rural Nature (2nd. edition 1817). Some pages unopened unevenly at fore edge. Very occasional spot of foxing. Plain modern binding with printed paper label on upper board. Extremely scarce. Whilst both his poetic responses to Bunyan are, neither this, the author's first publication, nor The Early Minstrel in Johnson's Provincial Poetry 1789-1839. Very Good.
