Historical, theoretical and practical treatise on the science and art of violin making, for the use of violin makers and players, amateur and professional; with three poems. Author was a polymath who also wrote on archaeology, history, Persian literature, asparagus, and some fantasy fiction as Christopher Blayre. Good/No Jacket.
