Title: The Saint of the Speedway
Description: London, Readers Library. 9999, Not Given. Hardcover. Book, "A tale of rare adventure at sea and on the Alaskan coast. A dark mystery surrounds a ship found deserted and derelict on a rocky shore. Under what circumstances did the vessel come into this condition?" Wonderful dustwrapper shows man with revolver on front, leaning over a green baize table scattered with cards, and a woman with a 1920s hat in the background; the man is pointing the gun at a man on the back of the book, with a fur hat, a red muffler and a villainous expression, who is also covered at gunpoint by four men in white robes and hoods with eyeholes. Spine dull, page edges bit brown and small tears on edges of last three pages; d/w bit frayed at corners and top & bottom of spine, otherwise very good. Good/Fairly Good.
