This is a collection of early works through time of publication of artists and writers of the Central Valley of California. One old famous poem starts with "Don't go they say if you got any brains. Stay away, far, far away from the San Joaquin Plains". Part one is poems, part two literary sketches, plays and short stories. 276 pages index. Good.
