Hand-colored frontispiece, one plate of the vessel Yathunah-gee-mohn, and two folding plates: the first, a view of the town of Rangoon; the second, depicting the attack of the Dunnoo stockade. With the bookplate of the military collection of Anne S. K. Brown. A first hand account of the second Anglo-Burmese war by Rev. Thomas T. Baker, Chaplain of Her Majesty's ship Fox, who died from cholera while attending the wounded. The last chapter of the book, describing the capture of Martaban and Rangoon, was added after the author's death. Spine professionally restored, mild toning to text block, light smudges to some of the leaves, some edge wear. A very good copy. ; Octavo. .
