A few gatherings with some foxing, offsetting at plates, title &c, but they are generally well preserved, fronts. with closed tear near one fold, one other large folding plate with closed tear near gutter, slight marginal wear, including a few small holes, with extremely limited loss of text. Ownership stamp (partially struck through) at front paste-down endpaper, with below, a free-hand oval bordered inscription, "Smith of Nottingham".
