Endpapers with some wear and light staining, split over hinges, boards holding very firm on cords; contents only lightly tanned, and with minimal foxing and very minor marginal staining. Early ownership signature at first free endpaper, "Mary-Cholmondely's Book". With only fairly mild rubbing at binding (light loss at head of spine) a reasonably nice copy.
