Description: Londini, Impensis J. Hooke, 1727. Hard Cover . Octavo, full early calf, engraved portrait fronts. [7] 316pp. [2] 166pp. [1], engraved head and tail pieces and initials. Misnumbering at G2-G8, then again at R6-S (apparently no R7); then at appendix, verso G7 also misnumbered. In all cases catchwords match, text following in order, and appearing complete. (Mispaginations similar to University of California copy at Davis.) Stub between Wilkinson preface and Elenchus Capitum, leaf lost preceding portrait, (either blank or possibly half-title). Calf worn with endpapers split, though boards holding well on cords; corners well-rubbed. Staining at endpapers (more remarkably at rear, but much less so at text leaves (marginal, inextensive). Text clean almost throughout. A good copy.
