Two volumes in slip-case, diamond 48mo. uniform soft black leather inlaid in red and decorated in gilt, Common Prayer (Eyre & Spottiswoode) 396pp; Hymns (Clowes) 347pp. [2] on thin paper, all edges gilt, two ribbon page-markers in each volume. Boards measure approx. 93 x 59mm. Common Prayer not dated, but the Table of Moveable Feasts begins at 1855; Hymns not dated, revised and enlarged edition, later. Very minor rubbing, gilt a touch dulled at spine, very minor wear at slip-case edges. All sound, text clean throughout, very well-preserved. A very pleasing little set.
