Hard Cover . 12mo. tree calf, floral gilt at spines, red title label, gilt borders, marbled endpapers, engraved fronts. tissue guard present, title page in red and black, [4], iv-vi, [1], pp.2-303, [1], engraved head and tail pieces, all edges gilt, ribbon page marker present but detached. Extremities and outer hinges rubbed and worn with some loss at board corner, and at head and tail of spine, any foxing almost wholly confined to prelims. (most notably tissue guard) and endpapers, stain at reverse fronts. engraving reasonably clean; minor wear at bottom margin of title, similar at E11-12. Binder's ticket at fly-leaf soiled/rubbed.
