Reading Conventions is seeking funds to cover the printing costs of their first publication. $1000 equals 1000 copies. The value of the City Reader will allow for a neighborhood awareness to extend into the urban context, with hopes for new perspectives formed between pedestrian and city. Twelve artists and writers have been invited to contribute work to be featured in this public pamphlet. Works include altered observations, short essays, dimensions, visual thoughts on perceptions of the street, city mappings, facade studies, conversations, photographs, stories, data, questions, portraits, etc. --- 'The first issue of Reading Conventions; A City Reader has been successfully distributed in neighborhoods of San Francisco!!
