Folded. ¶ Whoever originally owned this was interested in Colonial Secretary Alexander McLeay - whose name was on all government notices - being granted use of some 2500 acres of land next to his own. That section is marked in pencil. The month before Wentworth had launched an impeachment of McLeay for, amongst other things, fraud and corruption, adding to similar charges by other Darling enemies, Wardell and Hall Smith. Other sections mostly relate to reward and punishment.
