This is one of the most important and complete editions, the text is the corrected text from the first edition. This is sometimes referred to as Mitford’s edition. Armorial bookplate of Joseph Webster with his inscription to his son attached to the front endpaper. The volume is rebacked with original spine leather attached. Rare work. A few old mars to the front and rear leather boards, two small repairs to bottom edge of the folding frontispiece, light foxing to some plates, a tight and clean copy in very good condition..
