This small volume is from private research library of paleoanthropologist Theodore D. McCown who was Professor of Anthropology at the University of California at Berkeley from 1938 to 1969. McCown's custom-made bookplate and ink name-stamp appear on the facing front endpapers. No other ownership marks and no ex-library marks. Spine is a bit darkened from sunning; a tight and clean copy in very good condition..
