Contains 10 monographs by Morris, Petroff, Townsend, True, Brice, Stejneger, Alexander and Jordan on Alaska and the fur-seal fisheries. This work consists of both House of Representative and Senate documents. An important reference source on the natural history of Alaska. This work is not listed in any of the standard reference sources. Ex-library from Holyoke Public Library with gilt call number on the spine and check-out slip on front endpaper - the book was checked out just twice (in 1932 and 1937). First three pages have extensive repairs where paper had become cracked, some soiling and a few old stains to the cloth binding, marginal water marks to the outer top corner of the last few plates, text, maps and plates are bright and clean and unused; overall a good solid copy of a rare work..
