Folio-size hardcover boards with mocha cloth and burgundy spine, enveloping 116 black and white plates, loose (as issued), and composed of thick paper. viii, 7 pp. Very heavy - 10 pounds. Text in French. 193 pieces reproductions of the most remarkable pieces of fabrics and embroideries (including laces) from the collection of Count Besselievre of Paris. Text gives an introduction by Paul Cornu, and a list with some detail of each plate. Good; plates are crisp, some very clean, some a little soiled around the edges. The cloth spine of the portfolio has split completely, but the board covers show only a little edgewear.
