With original hand-colouring. Size (print) approx. 44 x 26 cm. Each plate had to picture the flower as beautiful as possible, scientific details were less important. The Hortus Nitidissimis is considered to be one of the most lavishly decorated florilegia. This extensive work is a spectacular display of the most colourful and beautiful flowers that can be grown in European gardens, such as tulips, hyacinths, ranunculus and roses. Price: Euro 1.250,-
